Studio C is excited to announce our first open call for submissions for artists seeking a one-week micro-residency. The residency is designed to offer artists time and space to experiment, create, and connect within a supportive and safe environment. This is a fully sponsored micro-residency with private access to the studio and yard.
About Studio C:
Located on Treaty 6 territory and the Homeland of the Metis, in the Caswell Hill neighbourhood of Saskatoon, SK, Studio C is a dynamic studio and gallery space that fosters creativity and collaboration across various artistic disciplines. Studio C is dedicated to supporting artistic practice, exploration, and expression with our regular art exhibitions and events.
What We Provide:
$300 in-kind sponsorship used towards a three day artist exhibition or project. Regular three day rental rate is $600, with sponsorship the rate is reduced to $300. view rates
Promotion support through Studio C’s networks.
Technical support if requested.
What You Provide:
You must supply your own materials for your exhibition or project.
Primary promotion and marketing, including list of sponsors.
Comply with the User Agreement for the space.
Eligibility:
Available to artist exhibitions and studio projects only.
Open to local artists of all mediums.
Emerging and established artists are encouraged to apply.
